My name is Garrison Anderson. Academically, I approach my research with the goal to provide historical backing and context to current issues. The sentiment, those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it, is what inspires this. Currently, I find myself being drawn towards studying protests, political rhetoric, and the way we produce and consume the news.
I love multiple cups of black coffee in the morning and try to make everyday as productive as possible in making a positive impact upon the world. I grew up in a rural, agricultural community in Wisconsin and have always had a strong work ethic. I apply this work ethic into my everyday life as much as I possibly can. For fun I enjoy hiking, running, craft beer, ultimate frisbee, and spending time with family and friends.
