Scholarship and Student Program Coordinator

Colorado State has been Cole's home for the past six years! Coming from a small, rural town in Northeast Colorado, CSU was Cole's dream school. While completing his undergraduate degree in Political Science and a minor in International Development, Cole was heavily involved on campus. He served in the Associated Students of Colorado State University as the Director of Governmental Affairs, Chief of Staff, and as student body Vice President. After graduating, Cole began working professionally at CSU in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs serving as the Executive Assistant to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students. Cole is excited to now be serving as the Scholarship and Student Program Coordinator for the College of Liberal Arts and hopes that he can bring more knowledge, awareness, and excitement to applying for scholarships! In his free time, Cole enjoys being outdoors, fishing, and playing the piano.

First Generation Story

College always seemed out of reach for my family and I. Because of the rising cost of tuition, I felt like I could only dream of one day having the opportunity to come to Colorado State University. In my Senior year of high school, I applied to as many scholarships as I could with the hopes to have enough money to come to CSU. It wasn't until April of my Senior year (one month before graduation) that I learned I was named a Daniels Fund Scholar, being granted a full-ride for four years to any accredited University in the nation. Of course I chose Colorado State University! I am humbled and honored that the Daniels Fund provided me with the opportunity to graduate as a First Generation student and to continue my work professionally at CSU!
