Heather Landers is a Special Instructor who has taught Public Speaking, Communication and Popular Culture, Interpersonal Communication, and Intercultural Communication. Heather has more than 10 years of experience in higher education, including positions related to student learning and retention, community education, and advising. She loves learning and is a perpetual student herself, having taken graduate coursework in Education, Public Communication and Technology, and, of course, Communication Studies. She is originally from Iowa and attended Luther College for her undergraduate degree, but has called Colorado home for the past 12 years. Heather loves reading, writing, watching movies and TV, running, hiking, and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer with her husband and two sons.
