Office: Behavioral Sciences A208
Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
I fell in love with communication studies as a major during my time at ACC getting my associates degree. From there I looked into many schools that offered Communication Studies as an undergraduate degree and CSU seemed like the best choice for me. My first semester here was a little rough as I didn't know anyone but once I got involved with the Center for Public Deliberation I finally started to feel like I had made the right choice. Since then my interests have grown in a million different directions with the most prominent being gendered communication, deliberation, Anti-Human Trafficking rhetoric, and even development of the Global South.
Before dedicating so much time to school, I worked so many jobs that my friends know me as the jack of all trades. I have worked making and teaching stained glass, as District Area Trainer for Petsmarts Pet Training Department and Pet Care Specialist, certified Phlebotomist, in the CSU meat lab, as a server/bartender, gas station cashier, Visual Manager for Guess Jeans, and even did a two year photography internship.
