Katherine Indermaur joined the Department of Communication Studies as the Communications Coordinator in November 2021. She earned a BA in English with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MFA in creative writing from Colorado State University, and her professional background is in writing and nonprofit management. Katherine is the author of one book of lyric essays, Facing the Mirror (Seneca Review Books, 2022), and two poetry chapbooks. She volunteers as an editor for poetry journal Sugar House Review. Outside work and writing, Katherine enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, yoga, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, and camping.
