Hello! My name is Nicole Neece (she/her), and I'm from Waterloo, Iowa. I received my B.A. in English Literature and Theatre Performance from the University of North Texas in 2019 with minors in LGBT Studies and Strategic Communication/Journalism. Currently, I am a second-year Master's student and Graduate Teaching Assistant here at CSU!

My research interests include fan studies, television, and sexual trauma representation. Specifically, how audiences reinterpret depictions of sexual violence through fanworks, such as fan fiction. In my free time, I enjoy fangirling over The X-Files and watching anything with Gillian Anderson in it.
