Biography

My name is Emma Eslinger and I am a PhD Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University in the Communication Studies Department. I teach SPCM 200: Public Speaking. My research broadly looks at how individuals in informal and formal social support provider roles make sense, process, cope, and draw meaning from negative support provider experiences. I am specifically interested in exploring how negative support provider experiences may impact an individuals personal and relational health and well-being which can inform the design and implementation of applied research interventions.
