ACT Human Rights Film Festival

April 5 – 13, 2019

Lory Student Center and The Lyric

The week-long, inaugural ACT Human Rights Film Festival showcases more than 15 curated, international films that explore a rich spectrum of human rights issues that people around the world, and close at home, confront every day. With context setting introductions to each screening followed by engaging Q&A sessions and thoughtful community outreach, this festival promises to awaken, connect, and inspires us to question, reflect, and act. Join with us to witness the beauty, complexity, and value of human life, celebrate human resilience, and move human rights forward.

Red Carpet dates:

Opening Night – Friday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lory Student Center Theater

Centerpiece – Wednesday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lory Student Center Theater

Closing Night – Friday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lory Student Center Theater

Fort Collins City Plan Forum for Students

Monday, February 11, 2019 at 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM MST
Nancy Richardson Design Center

The first 20 registrants get $30 Ram Cash and dinner at the event!

The City of Fort Collins is deciding what the City will look like in the next 20-30 years. They want to hear from students. Join us for dinner and a discussion of the City’s proposed plan, including new transit routes and housing options. You’ll weigh in on what works for students and what doesn’t.

We held our first event during Spring 2018 and asked students about housing and transportation on the Plaza. In the next event, students were able to evaluate three different images of what our City could look like. This is our final event in the series.

CSU Strategic Plan Forum

Tuesday, February 26th Noon and Monday, April 1 at 4 p.m.

Hosted in the LSC Grey Rock Room

Strategic plans have a tendency to collect dust on a shelf. As Colorado State University envisions the next five years for our campus, we wanted to do something differently. Help us create a campus-wide map of our vision for the CSU community. You will be asked to imagine CSU 5 years in the future. What do you want? How do we get there? In the end, we’ll capture your ideas and use them to create an interactive Kumu map.

CSU Students, staff, and faculty welcome! Refreshments will be provided.
