Join us for our insightful Gravlee lecture exploring the evolving tactics and rhetoric of white nationalist movements in Dr. Casey Kelly’s talk, “From Keyboard Warriors to Street-Fighting Men: Fitness, Active Clubs, and the New Rhetoric of White Nationalism.
Casey Kelly is Professor of Rhetoric and Public Culture in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is the author of five books, including Caught on Tape: White Masculinity and Obscene Enjoyment (2023) and Manifesting Violence: White Terrorism and the Rhetoric of Replacement (2025). Kelly is the editor-elect of the Quarterly Journal of Speech (2026-2028) and the recipient of multiple awards from the National Communication Association.
