About the Panelists
Emilie Leazier (’24)
Social Media Strategist & Wedding Photographer
Emilie Leazier is a social media strategist and wedding photographer based in Colorado. After earning her degree in Communication Studies, she began building a career that blends creativity with strategic marketing. Emilie works at a boutique marketing agency where she leads client strategy, interprets account analytics, and develops systems to improve internal processes and communication. Alongside her agency work, Emilie runs her own wedding photography business, serving couples across the country. Her work centers on building strong client relationships, managing expectations, and creating meaningful experiences — skills rooted in her background in communication.
Emilie credits her Communication Studies education with preparing her to navigate complex client dynamics, present with confidence, manage up within small teams, and translate ideas into action. Today, she uses those skills daily as she helps businesses grow online while also growing her own.
Erin Carey (’08)
Senior Director of CRM and Digital Marketing for Paramount+ Global
Erin Carey is a global CRM and lifecycle marketing director with 14+ years in digital marketing and 8+ years leading international teams. She drives operational excellence, end-to-end product development, and data-driven programs across 25 countries. Currently at Paramount+, she guides strategy, design, and project management for global CRM initiatives and partners with analytics and engineering to optimize impact. Erin earned a B.A. in Media Communications from Colorado State University (2008).
