Come join us as the CSU Alumni Association partners with our ACT Human Rights Film Festival and CSU Spur for a reception and an encore screening of our Thematic Year of Health film, Into The Weeds: Dwayne “Lee” Johnson vs. Monsanto Company in Denver on Thursday, April 27.

5:30 p.m. – Reception in the CSU Spur Hydro lobby with heavy appetizers and refreshments

6:15 p.m. – Doors open to the Confluence Theater

6:30 p.m. – Welcome and remarks

6:45 p.m. – Film Screening

8:20 p.m. – Pre-recorded Q&A with film Director Jennifer Baichwal and Professor Scott Diffrient

Getting to CSU Spur

CSU Spur is located at the National Western Center in Denver, 4817 National Western Drive, and consists of three buildings: Hydro, Terra, and Vida. This event will take place in the Hydro Building.

CSU Spur is located northeast of I-25 and I-70 in Denver, between the Washington Street and Brighton Boulevard exits. Free parking is available at Spur in Lot N. You can input “4817 National Western Drive, Denver, CO 80216” into your GPS to navigate to Spur and Lot N. About the film

Into the Weeds: Dwayne “Lee” Johnson vs. Monsanto Company is a documentary that chronicles the explosive and historic legal case that exposed Monsanto’s complicity on harmful effects of Round Up. The film uplifts the plaintiffs and legal team that worked tirelessly to fight for justice.
