UPDATED!

In celebration of Black History Month, Communication Studies’ ACT Human Rights Film Festival is collaborating with CSU’s Black/African American Cultural Center and Gregory Allicar Museum of Art to highlight the vibrant landscape of Black art in America.

Join us Wednesday, February 23 at 6:00 p.m. for a showing of the new documentary film Black Art: In the Absence of Light. The showing is free and open to the public, in the University Center for the Arts’ Griffin Auditorium. The corresponding art exhibition at the Gregory Allicar Museum, “Black Art at CSU: Building a Presence” will run through June 2022.

More information about the film showing is available at actfilmfest.org.
