James O’Mara is from Indiana, were he received his bachelor’s in Communication Studies, as well as Sociology at Indiana University-Purdue University at Columbus. James chose to pursue a Master’s degree from Colorado State due to their outstanding faculty and the atmosphere that the department provides. In the pursuit of his Master’s degree, James’s primary research interests are rhetorical criticism, specifically the rhetorical strategy of American Exceptionalism. James is also interested in the broad field of critical theory.
