Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Peyton Bonine (he/him), and I am a first-year Ph.D. student originally from Terre Haute, Indiana. My research interests are concerned with trans and queer rhetorics, especially as they relate to representation, spatiality, and memory. In pursuit of my Ph.D. in Communication Studies, I lean into my concentration in Rhetoric and Civic Engagement through coursework engaging with rhetorical theory and criticism and themes of space and place. In addition to my coursework, I also serve as an instructor of record for SPCM 200 (Public Speaking).
