In the episode, “Solving our most wicked problems together at the local level,” Carcasson discusses his work as the founder and director of the CSU Center for Public Deliberation. Further, he explains how the idea of an engaged citizen in a democracy is outdated, but that aspiring toward what he calls the “wise collaborator” model can result in a democracy in which “where real people can affect real change.”
