All graduate teaching assistants in the Communication Studies Department are invited to this workshop, Deescalating Student Conflict.
Join us on Wednesday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Walnut 110. Lunch will be provided.
This workshop will be led by Rahwa Woldeyesus (she/her/hers), Associate Director of Conflict Resolution Services at the Student Resolution Center.
Take a deeper dive into understanding how you respond to conflict, what triggers can escalate conflict, and how to manage conflict more effectively. See where your individual strengths are in conflict scenarios and how to tap into those when frustrating moments occur. During this in-person workshop, results to a survey on responses to conflict will be delivered alongside a developmental guide.
