Professor Martín Carcasson is the Director of the Center for Public Deliberation (CPD), which is housed in the Department of Communication Studies at CSU. The CPD is part of the core team behind the NoCo Deliberative Journalism Project—a collaborative of newsrooms, academics, and others focused on improving our local information ecosystem.
On April 4, 2022, Colorado Edition on KUNC interviewed Carcasson about how local journalism and effective communication serve and strengthen democracy, ultimately making our communities better.
