This fall the Department of Communication Studies faculty and staff assess the status of both our undergraduate and graduate programs, and our research and engagement activities. This self-study occurs every six years and is required by the university (which goes through a rigorous accreditation process every decade). Over the next few months we’ll be identifying accomplishments and missed opportunities from the past six years and commit ourselves to new and renewed goals.
How does this relate to you? Alumni satisfaction is an important assessment node. Did your degree prepare you well for life? Do you use your degree in your work? How about in your relational or community life?
You can help us measure the ways in which your communication studies (speech communication/speech and theater arts) degree(s) influenced your life by participating in a new alumni satisfaction survey, which goes live in a few weeks. Two lucky respondents will be chosen at random to receive 2 All-Festival passes to the 2019 ACT Human Rights Film Festival occurring April 5-13 in Fort Collins.
You’ll receive an email invitation with the survey link during the week of September 10. Keep your eye out for it and please consider participating!
